GROWTH IN AFRICA

My story is shaped by being inside the system, not observing it from the outside.

I have been based in the GCC since 2008, which allowed me to witness how the region was built in real time. I watched cities rise, trade corridors expand, and financial systems mature through disciplined structure, policy alignment, and execution. Seeing this evolution firsthand shaped how I understand growth, capital, and long term planning.

My career began in business development within HR, where I learned how organisations function at their core. Understanding people, incentives, and operational structure became the foundation of my work. Alongside this, I studied while working, grounding theory in daily practice.

As my career evolved, I moved into business development and brokerage, particularly around commodities and capital intensive transactions. Today, my day to day work as a broker involves connecting buyers and sellers, structuring transactions, managing introductions, aligning terms, and supporting deals from early discussion through to execution. I work closely with traders, banks, logistics partners, and investors, navigating compliance, cross border payments, and the realities of commodity driven markets such as gold, energy, and trade related services.

A large part of my role is risk translation. I spend time clarifying jurisdictions, validating counterparties, aligning expectations, and ensuring that each party understands the structure, timelines, and responsibilities involved. Much of this work happens quietly behind the scenes, but it is critical to whether a deal progresses or collapses.

Being connected to Africa while operating from the GCC has given me a clear mandate. I bridge markets by applying the structuring discipline I have seen in the GCC to African opportunities that are often misunderstood or poorly presented. This approach led to the creation of Nova Network Group, a multi sector platform designed to turn opportunity into clear, investable frameworks.

Today, I operate at the intersection of commodities, capital, and cross border partnerships, spending my time structuring deals, facilitating trust, and guiding execution across Africa and the GCC. My work is practical, relationship driven, and built on years of lived experience watching markets grow from the inside.
